Placement and use
Use safely, and only when appropriate.

Mounting the kit
- Choose a spot that is easy to reach while moving out of the room.
- Fix the extinguisher bracket to the wall at reachable height.
- Fix the fire-ball stand near the risk point you want covered.
- Keep the fire blanket in the kitchen with pull tapes hanging downward.
- Make sure everyone knows where all three are kept.
Before anything else
If the fire is spreading, the room is filling with smoke, or your way out could be cut off, leave immediately and call 101.
Extinguisher
- Pull the safety pin.
- Aim at the base of the fire.
- Squeeze the handle.
- Sweep side to side.
Fire ball
Place near the risk point. It discharges when flame reaches it.
Fire blanket
- Pull both tapes downward.
- Shield your hands behind the fabric.
- Lay it over the fire to cut off the air.
- Leave it in place until cool.
